This is to provide privacy for the high-rollers who commonly play the game. Baccarat has some of the highest betting minimums of any casino game.
Casino baccarat versus online baccarat
Depending on the casino rules, players are often called upon to deal the cards. A player will deal the cards from the shoe until the bank wins. Once the bank wins, the shoe will pass to the next player. With online baccarat, the cards are dealt automatically. Online baccarat is much quicker than baccarat in land-based casinos, as well. Most online baccarat games follow the mini-baccarat version popular in land-based casinos.
