Banco -

The banker, one of the options a player may wager on in baccarat.

Carte -

When a player asks for a card to be dealt.

Coup -

A round of play in the game.

Croupier -

The dealer.

Face cards -

The jacks, queens, and kings in a deck of playing cards.

Ladderman -

The casino employee that supervises a game of baccarat.

Mini-Baccarat -

A type of baccarat played at a small table, similar to the size of a blackjack table.

Natural -

When a hand has an 8 or 9 point value with the first two cards.

Punto -

The player, one of the options a player may wager on in baccarat.

Shoe -

A box used for holding and distributing multiple decks of cards.

Standoff -

A tie, one of the options a player may wager on in baccarat.
